In getting this book together, I noticed all the grandchildren thought Grandma was such a good cook. Everything was just so good to our childish minds. Just simple things she made and snacks she and Grandpa served. Also, I always thought Mom's food was so good. I can make the same dishes she made. They're good, but something's just not quite as special as when she made it. And I think, as we grow older we realize the one ingredient that made it so special was love. Yes, it was served with love. The memories we have of our childhood years, shared with our parents and grandparents, sitting around the table eating and sharing our happenings of the day, where love was always there too, made the food so good.

So I , and I'm sure all the other cousins, would like to take this opportunity to not only thank God for our Christian heritage and teachings of our grandparents, but also our parents, who taught us of God's love, that we may accept Him as our personal Saviour who died for our sins. Thank you for your day by day living as you set an example for us from one generation to the next, so we may continue...the Harvest of Our Heritage.
