Recipe - Almond Delight Dessert

12 oz - chocolate chips
6 cups - almond delight or frosted flakes
2/3 cup - peanut butter
1 gal - vanilla ice cream

Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter over low heat. Stir in cereal and cool. Reserve 1 cup coated cereal to topping. Mix the rest of coated cereal with ice cream. Pour into 9" x 13" pan. Freeze

1 cup - milk chocolat chips
3 cups - almond delight cereal

Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat. Add ceream and stir until coated. Mix this together with softened ice cream. Put in serving dish or individual cups. Frosted Flakes can be substituted for cereal. This is very good mixed into homemade icecream.

Recipe - Angel Food Roll

1 - angel food cake mix

Mix as directed and bake in ungreased 11" x 16" baking pan until done. Invert warm cake on powdered sugar sprinkled cloth and roll like jelly roll. After it has cooled unroll and spread with 1/2 tube cream cheese pastry filling. Over that spread thin layer of pie filling of choice then roll up again. Slice and serve!

Recipe - Angel Toffee Dessert

2 pkg (3 oz each) - cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup - powdered sugar
2 tbsp - milk
1 carton (8 oz) - frozen whipping topping (thawed)
5 cups - cubed angel food cake
1/2 cup - chocolate syrup
1/2 cup - english toffee bits

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and milk until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping. Arrange cake cubes in an ungreased 11"x7"x2" dish. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Set aside 1 tbsp toffee bits. Sprinkle the remaining toffee bits over chocolate. Spread cream cheese mixture over top. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits. 6-8 servings.

Recipe - Apple Crisp

1-2 qt - apple pie filling or peeled, diced apples with 1 cup sugar
1 cup - brown sugar
1 tsp - salt (scant)
2 tsp - soda
1 cup - whole wheat flour
1 stick - butter or oleo
1 cup - oatmeal

Put apple pie filling or apples in bottom of 9" x 13" pan. Mix dry ingredients. Melt oleo and add to dry ingredients; stir together till crumbly. Arrange on top of apples and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. A family favorite.

Recipe - Apple Dumpling Bake

2 tubes - crescent rolls
2 med - apples, peeled and cored
1 cup - sugar
1/3 cup - butter, melted
3/4 cup - mountain dew

Unroll crescent rolls and separate dough into 16 triangles. Cut each apple into eight wedges. Wrap a crescent roll triangle around each wedge. Place in a greased 9 x 13" baking dish, combine sugar and butter; pour over rolls. Sprinkle with cinnamon and pour the mountain dew around the edges. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes. Serves: 8.

Recipe - Apple Dumplings
Our Price:  

6 - apples
2 cups - flour
2 1/2 tsp - baking powder
1/2 tsp - salt
2/3 cup - shortening
1/2 cup - milk

Pare apples. For pastry, sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add shortening. Sprinkle milk over mixture and press together lightly, working dough only enough to hold together. Roll as for pie and cut in squares. Place half an apple on each square. Fill cavity with brown sugar and cinnamon. Put dough around apples to cover completely. Fasten edges securely on top of apples. Place 1" apart in greased baking dish.

Sauce
2 cups - brown sugar
2 cups - waer
1/4 tsp - cinnamon
1/4 tsp - nutmeg

Combine ingredients in saucepan and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup butter. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 375° for 35-40 minutes. Serve hot with milk. These can be made beforehand and frozen before they are baked, with sauce included.

Recipe - Apple Dumplings

1/2 cup - milk

Syrup:
1 1/2 cups - white sugar
1 1/2 cups - water
2 tbsp - butter
1/2 tsp - cinnamon

Combine first 3 ingredients; cut in shortening till mixture is crumbly. Add milk, stirring to make a soft dough. Roll out dough. Peel 3-5 cooking apples and cut in half. Wrap each half in a piece of dough. Put dumplings in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Heat syrup ingredients together until butter melts. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.

Recipe - Apple Goodie

3/4 cup - sugar
1 tbsp - flour
1/8 tsp - salt
1/2 tsp - cinnamon
3 cups - sliced apples

Mix dry ingredients together and combine with sliced apples. Reduce the sugar if the apples are sweet.

Topping:
1/2 cup - oatmeal
1/2 cup - brown sugar
1/2 cup - flour
1/4 cup - butter
1/8 tsp - baking powder
1/8 tsp - soda

Put on top of apple mixture. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.

Recipe - Baked Chocolate Fudge Pudding

Cream together
3 tbsp - shortening
3/4 cup - sugar

Sift Together
1 cup - flour
1/2 tsp - salt
1 1/2 tsp - baking powder

Add alternately with 1/2 cup milk to creamed mixture. Fold in 1/2 cup nuts. Put in ungreased pan. Mix 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa and 1/4 tsp salt. Sprinkle on top of batter. Do not stir. Pour 1 1/4 cups boiling water over batter and all. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

Recipe - Banana Cream Dessert

1 1/4 cups - graham crackers, crushed
1/4 cup - butter, melted
3 tbsp - sugar
1 (12oz) container - cool whip
1 (8oz) container - sour cream
1 pkg - instant vanilla pudding
3 med - bananas, sliced

Mix cracker crumbs, butter and sugar. Press into bottom of 9" springform pan. Whisk cool whip and sour cream until blended. Add pudding; whisk until blended and smooth. Spread half the filling over crust. Slice bananas onto filling. (Try to spread evenly.) Spread remaining filling over bananas. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving. Remove form springform pan. Cut into wedges.

Recipe - Berries on a Cloud

3 - egg whites
1 tsp - cream of tarter
3/4 cup - sugar

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy, then add sugar. Beat until stiff.
Bake on a brown paper bag placed on a cookie sheet at 250° for 2 hours. Turn off oven and leave in oven for another hour.

Filling
8 oz - cream cheese
2 cups - whipped topping
1/2 cup - sugar
1 cup - miniature marshmallows
1 tsp - vanilla

Top with your favorite pie filling

1 - egg
2 cups - flour
1/2 tsp - salt

Topping:
1/4 cup - soft butter

Recipe - Blueberry Lemon Trifle

2 cups - fresh blueberries
2 cans (15 3/4 oz) - lemon pie filling
2 (8 oz) - lemon yogurt
1 prepared - angel food cake, cut into 1" cubes
1 (8 oz) - cool whip, thawed

Set aside 1/4 cup blueberries for garnish. In a bowl, combine pie filling and yogurt. In a 3 1/2 qt serving bowl or trifle bowl, layer a third of the cake cubes, lemon mixture and blueberries. Repeat layers twice. Top with whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with reserved blueberries and lemon.

Recipe - Brownie Pudding

3 tbsp - shortening
1 cup - flour
2 tbsp - cocoa
3/4 cup - sugar
2 tsp - baking powder
1/2 cup - milk

1 cup - nuts
1/4 cup - cocoa
1 3/4 cups - hot water
1 cup - brown sugar
1/4 tsp - salt

Cream together shortening an sugar. Sift together flour, baking powder and cocoa, add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, add nuts. Put in ungreased pan. Mix brown sugar, cocoa and salt, sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 3/4 cups hot water over entire batter. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

Recipe - Butter Pecan Dessert

1 cup - flour
1/2 cup - chopped nuts
3 cups - milk
1-8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 lg container - cool whip
1 stick - margarine, softened
2 sm or 1 lg pkg - butter pecan instant pudding mix
1 cup - powdered sugar

Cut butter into flour and add nuts. Press into 9" x 13" pan and bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool. Cream the cheese and powdered sugar. Spread on baked crust. Then spread on the pudding prepared with the 3 cups milk. Finish by spreading the cool whip to cover the pudding layer. Refrigerate.

Recipe - Butterfinger Balls

2 cups - crushed graham cracker crumbs
2 cups - powdered sugar
1/4 cup - butter

Mix together like pie crust mix. Chill at least 1 hour. Form into small balls. Dip in melted chocolate (1 lb sweet milk choc, 1/3 bar paraffin melted in double boiler). While dipping keep chocolate on low heat. Place on wax paper and chill overnite.

Recipe - Butterfinger Dessert

1 1/2 stick - oleo
30 - soda crackers

Crush crackers and add melted oleo. Mix and press 3/4 into 9" x 13" pan.

2-3 oz boxes - vanilla instant pudding
8 oz - cool whip
2 cups - milk
1 qt - vanilla ice cream
3 - butterfinger candy bars

Beat pudding and milk together, then add softened ice cream. Put on top of crackers. Top with cool whip. Crush candy bars and mix with the rest of crumbs. Sprinkle on top. It is best to fix in morning for noon meal.

1 tsp - salt
1 1/2 cups - pearl tapioca

Cook 15 minutes. Add 2 cups brown sugar. Cook till done, stirring ofter. Mix together.

Recipe - Cappuccino Ice Cream Pie

1 - graham pie crust
1/3 cup - fudge topping, stirred to soften
1 qt - ice cream, chocolate or fudge ripple, softened
1 tbsp - instant coffee granules, dissolved in 1 tsp hot water
1/2 tsp - ground cinnamon
whipped topping

Spoon fudge topping into crust; gently spread to cover bottom. In a large mixer bowl beat ice cream, dissolved coffee granules and cinnamon just until blended. Spoon into crust. Freeze at least 3 hours. Serve with whipped topping. Top with chocolate syrup and nuts if desired. Yield: 8 servings.

Recipe - Caramel Apple Cheese Danish

1 (10ct) roll - refrigerator pillsbury biscuits
1 (8oz) - cream cheese
1/2 cup - powdered sugar
1 - granny smith apple, chopped
1/2 cup - pecans
cinnamon
1/2 - 3/4 cup - caramel ice cream topping

Press the biscuits into a greased 9 x 13" cake pan. Mix the next two ingredients until creamy. Spread over biscuits. Sprinkle the apple pieces and pecans over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste and drizzle the caramel topping over everything. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream of cool whip.

Recipe - Caramel Ice Cream Cake

3 qts - vanilla ice cream (softened)
1 pkg - instant vanilla pudding
2 cups - milk
16 oz - cool whip
4 - snickers candy bars (chopped)
caramel ice cream topping

Mix cake according to directions on box. Bake in a jellyroll pan. Cool. Invert into a large tupperware pan. Mix pudding amd milk. Blend in ice cream. Pour over cake. Spread cool whip on top. Sprinkle with snickers and drizzle caramel topping over all. Freeze. Thaw slightly before serving. Variation: Use chocolate cake and cookies and cream ice cream, with oreo crumbs and chocolate syrup on top.

3/4 cup - sugar
1 qt - frozen strawberries, drained
3 sliced - bananas
1 (13 oz) - crushed pineapples, drained
1 lg container - cool whip
1/2 cup - nuts, opt

Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add rest of ingredients. Spread in 13 x 9 glass pan. Cover and freeze. Remove from freezer 1 hour before serving. This is very refreshing served with a special breakfast.

Recipe - Cheery Cherry Cheese Cake

2/3 cup - sugar
3 - eggs
1 tsp - vanilla

Preheat oven to 350°. In a bowl, combine all ingredients in order given. Beat on medium speed for 5 minutes. Pour into greased 9" pie pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Chill. Top with cherry pie filling.

Recipe - Chocolate Bavarian Torte

1-18 1/4 oz pkg - devil's food cake mix, without pudding
8 oz - cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup - packed brown sugar
1 tsp - vanilla extract
1/8 tsp - salt
2 cups - whipped cream, whipped
2 tbsp - grated semi-sweet chocolate

Mix and bake cake according to package directions, using 2-9" cake pans. Cool in pans for 15 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Fold in cream. Split each cake into 2 horizontal layers, place one on a serving plate. Spread with 1/4 of the cream mixture. Sprinkle with 1/4 of the chocolate. Repeat layer. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Yields: 12 servings. This is a very good and nice cake.

Recipe - Chocolate Peanut Butter Dessert

Layer 1:
3/4 cup - crushed dry roasted peanuts
1 cup - flour
1/2 cup - butter

Mix well and pat in bottom of 9x13 ungreased pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350°. Cool

Layer 2:
1/4 cup - peanut butter
8 oz - cream cheese
1 cup - powdered sugar
8 oz - cool whip

Combine. Mix well and spread over layer 1.

Layer 3:
3 oz pkg - chocolate instant pudding
3 oz pkg - vanilla instant pudding
2 3/4 cups - milk

Recipe - Chocolate Ribbon Pudding

35 - oreos
6 tbsp - butter
1 (8 oz) - cream cheese
1/4 cup - sugar
2 tbsp - milk
1 (8 oz) - cool whip
3 cups  - milk
2 boxes - instant vanilla pudding (1 vanilla and 1 chocolate)

Mix crushed cookies and melted butter in 9x13 pan. Refrigerate 15 min. Beat cream cheese, sugar, milks and stir in 1/2 of cool whip. Spread over crust. Mix 3 cups milk and pudding. Pour over cream cheese. Top with cool whip and crushed cookies.

Recipe - Chocolate Trifle

1 (18 1/4 oz) pkg - chocolate fudge cake mix
1 (6oz) pkg - instant chocolate pudding
1/2 cup - strong coffee or water
1 (12 oz) carton - frozen whipped topping, thawed
6 (1.4 oz) - Heath or Fifth Avenue bars, crushed

Bake cake according to package directions. Cool. Prepare pudding according to package directions, set aside. Crumble cake, reserve 1/2 cup. Place 1/2 of the remaining cake crumbs in the bottom of a 4 1/2 or 5 qt trifle dish or glass bowl. Layer with 1/2 of the coffee, 1/2 of the pudding, 1/2 of the whipped toppiing, 1/2 of the crushed candy bars. Repeat layers, coffee, pudding and whipped topping. Combine remaining crushed candy bars with reserved cake crumbs, sprinkle over top. Refrigerate 4-5 hours before serving. Serves 8-10.

Recipe - Cinnamon Cream Cheese Squares

2 tubes (8 oz) - crescent rolls
2 (8 oz) - cream cheese (softened)
1 1/2 cup - sugar
1 tsp - vanilla
1/4 cup - butter or margarine (melted)
1 tsp - ground cinnamon

Unroll one tube of crescent roll dough and place in a lightly greased 13x9x2 baking pan. Seal seams and perforations; set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and vanilla until smoorh. Spread over dough. Unroll remaining tube of dough and place over cream cheese mixture, stretching to fit. Brush butter evenly over top; sprinkle with cinnamon and remaining sugar. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until done. Cool, cut into squares. Yield: 3 doz.

Recipe - Cinnamon Flop

1 1/2 cups - sugar
2 tbsp - butter, melted
1 - egg, beaten
2 cups - flour
2 tsp - baking powder
1 - milk
1 cup - brown sugar
1 tsp - cinnamon
1/4 cup - butter, melted

Mix first 6 ingredients and pour into a well greased 9" x 13" pan. Mix last 3 ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle on cake batter. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Crumb mixture sinks to the bottom of cake during baking, making a sugary crust on the bottom. Do not overbake, or it gets too hard. Especially good if served while still warm and eaten with ice cream.

Recipe - Cinnamon Fluff

1/2 cup - soft shortening
2/3 cup - sugar
2 - eggs
1 1/2 cup - flour
2 tsp - cinnamon
1 tsp - baking powder
1 tsp - soda
1/2 tsp - salt
1 cup - sour milk

Sauce:
Mix in pan:
1 cup - white sugar
2 tbsp - cornstarch, heaping
Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly
Stir in: 1/4 - butter
Add: 2 tsp - vanilla
2 tsp - nutmeg

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Add dry ingredients, alternately with sour milk. Bake at 350° about 30 minutes. Use 13 x 9 cake pan. Serve warm with sauce.

Recipe - Circus Peanut Tapioca

6 cups - water
1 1/2 cups - tapioca (seed pearl)
6 oz - orange jello
24 - circus peanuts
3/4 cup - white sugar
whipped topping

Boil water, then add tapioca. Put lid on kettle and let set for half an hour. Then bring to boiling point and add jello, 24 circus peanuts and sugar. Stir a few times while it is cooling. When cool, add whipped topping and 12 more circus peanuts. Children like this.

Recipe - Cocoa Syrup

1 1/2 cups - sugar
2/3 cup - evaporated milk
1/2 tsp - vanilla
2 tbsp - cocoa
1/2-2/3 cup - light karo

Mix together sugar and cocoa. Gradually add milk. Heat in saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. When mixture is about to boil, add syrup and vanilla. Beat until mixture is glossy and smooth. No refrigeration necessary.

Recipe - Cooked Vanilla Pudding

1/2 cup - sugar
1/3 cup - flour
3 - egg yolks (beaten)
2 cups - milk

In saucepan put sugar, flour and egg yolks, add milk slowly while stirring, cook until bubbles. This may be used for peanut butter pie filling, oreo pudding, or cracker pudding. Just add whipped topping to each of the puddings.

1/4 cup - butter (melted)
4 pk (8 oz) - cream cheese
1 cup - sugar
1 tsp - vanilla
4 - eggs
20 - oreos

Crush 30 oreos, add butter. Press in 9x13 pan. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until blended. Add eggs. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups chopped cookies. Pour into crust. Sprinkle with remaining chopped cookies. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

Recipe - Cranberry Salad

1/2 lb - fresh cranberries, chopped
3 - apples, pared, cored and chopped fine
2 - oranges, chopped
1/2 cup - crushed pineapple
1 1/2 cups - sugar
1/4 cup - chopped pecans or walnuts
1 (3 oz) box - strawberry jello
1 cup - boiling water
1 cup - cold water

Mix the first six ingredients together. Dissolve jello in boiling water and then add cold water. When jello is cold then add salad mixture. Pour into a bowl and allow to congeal in refrigerator. Serves 6.

Recipe - Cream Cheese Danish

2 pkg - cresent rolls
2 (8 oz) - cream cheese
1/2 cup - white sugar
1 - egg yolk
1 - egg white
1 tsp - lemon juice
1 tsp - vanilla
1 tbsp - powdered sugar

Unroll on pkg of cresent rolls onto 9x13 pan. Press edges together. Cream sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add egg yolk, lemon juice and vanilla. Pour over rolls. Unroll second pkg of rolls and spread over mixture. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Beat egg white and brush over rolls. Bake at 350 for 30 min. Best when served hot. Recipe - Cream Filled Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream Pie

1 (16 oz) pkg - cookies (crushed)
1 (10 oz) jar - chocolate fudge topping
1/4 cup - butter or margarine (melted)
1 (12 oz) cont - whipped topping
1/2 gal - vanilla ice cream (softened)

Mix crushed cookies with butter. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Spread ice cream over top of cookies. Put in freezer until ice cream is frozen again. (This will keep the fudge from settling on the bottom). Pour fudge topping in even layer over ice cream. Put in the freezer for 2-3 hours. (This will allow the fudge to set so it does not mix with the whipped topping while you`re spreading it.) Spread whipped topping over fudge. Garnish with chocolate curls or cookies if desired.

1/2 cup - butter or margarine
1 cup - all purpose flour
1/4 tsp - salt
4 - eggs

Melt butter in 1 cup boiling water. Add flour and salt all at once; stir vigorously. Cook and stir till mixture forms a ball that doesn`t separate. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time beating after each till smooth. Drop by heaping tablespoons 3" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then at 325° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven; sdplit. Turn oven off; put cream puffs back in to dry about 20 minutes. Cool on rack. Makes 10. Fill with vanilla or chocolate pudding. Top with whipped topping.

Recipe - Creamy Jello Salad

3 (3 oz) boxes - jello (your favorite flavor)
1 (8 oz) - cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp - realemon juice
3/4 cup - water
1 (12 oz) - cool whip, more if you want it real fluffy
3/4 cup - sour cream (scant)

Prepare 1 box jello according to directions. Pour into tupperware or bowl and let set until firm. Prepare 2nd box jello with 3/4 cup hot water. Meanwhile cream together cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice and cool whip. Mix well. Add jello when it is starting to set. Pour this 2nd layer on 1st layer. After 2nd layer has set, prepare remaining jello according to directions. Pour over top and let set.

1 cup - boiling water
1 tsp - soda
1 cup - sugar
1 tbsp - butter
1 - beaten egg
1 1/2 cups - sifted flour
pinch of salt

whipped cream

Cut dates in small pieces, then add soda. Pour water over dates and let set until cool. Cream together sugar and butter, then add the egg. Add flour, salt and nuts. Beat as for a cake and add to date mixture. Don't overbeat. Pour thin layers in greased pan. When cooled, cut in cubes and mix with whipped cream and sliced bananas.

Sauce
1/4 cup - water
1/4 cup - butter, melted
1 cup - brown sugar
1 tbsp - flour
1 - egg, well beaten
1 tsp - vanilla

Add water to melted butter in saucepan. Blend in sugar and flour. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Cook till thickened. Cool and drizzle over whipped cream.

Cream oleo and sugar. Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients.  Mix well; stir in dates and nuts.

Syrup

Combine ingredients. Pour into a buttered loaf pan. Drop the batter in lumps in the syrup. Bake at 350°. Serve with whipped cream.

1/2 cup - powdered sugar
1 cup - cherry pie filling
1/4 lb - butter
1 cup - cool whip
3 oz - philadelphia cream cheese

Mix graham crackers, butter and sugar together and press in 8"pan. Add softened cream cheese to cool whip and whip very stiff. Then whip in powdered sugar. Place on graham cracker crust. Let stand 1/2 hour. Pour cherry pie filling on top. Add sugar to filling.

Frosting:

Gradually add milk, eggs and vanilla, beating until smooth and well blended. Gradually add milk, eggs and vanilla, beating until smooth and well blended. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture; beat until well blended. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake 18-20 minutes. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Prepare chocolate topping; spread over cake. Sprinkle candy pieces over top.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Topping:
1/2 cup - semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup - creamy peanut butter
2 tbsp - butter or margarine
1/4 cup - powdered sugar

In a med saucepan, place chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Sitr over med-low heat just until chips are melted. Add powdered sugar; whisk until smooth and of spreading consistency.

2 cups - finely crushed chocolate cream filled sandwich cookies (about 22 cookies)
2 tbsp - butter or margarine, melted
8 oz - cream cheese, softened
14 oz - sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp - vanilla extract
2 tbsp - instant coffe granules
1 tbsp - hot water
1/2 cup - chocolate syrup

Line a 9x5x3 loaf pan with foil. In a bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and butter. Press firmly onto the bottom and 1 1/2" up the sides of prepared pan. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until light. Add milk and vanilla; mix well. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon half of the mixture into another bowl and set aside. Dissolve coffee in hot water; fold into remaining cream cheese mixture. Fold in chocolate syrup. Spoon half of chocolate mixture over crust. Top with half of the reserved cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Cut through layers with a knife to swirl chocolate (pan will be full). Cover and freeze for 6 hours or overnight. To serve, lift out of the pan; remove foil. Cut into slices.

1 cup - pineapple juice
4 - eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp - salt

Cook until thick. Cool and add:

Recipe - Fruit Pizza
Our Price:  

1/2 cup - butter
1/2 cup - brown sugar
1 - egg
1 1/2 cups - flour
1 tsp - baking powder
1/2 tsp - salt

Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Add dry ingredients. Press into a greased pizza pan. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until light brown.

8 oz - cream cheese
1/2 cup - powdered sugar
1/2 tsp - vanilla
1 tbsp - milk

Cream together and spread over crust. Arrange fresh fruit of your choice on top - apples, peaches, oranges, bananas, etc.

Glaze for top:
2 cups - pineapple juice, add water to make 2 cups
1/2 cup - sugar
1 heaping tbsp - clear jel
2 tbsp - lemon jello

Cook and cool. Pour over fruit.

pinch of salt
1 tsp - baking powder
1 stick - oleo
1/3 cup - sugar

Mix and bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Do not overbake.

Fruit Dip
1 - egg
1/2 cup - sugar
2 tbsp - orange rind
1-8 oz - cream cheese
1 container - cool whip

Bring egg, sugar and orange rind to a boil. Add cream cheese and cool whip.
Spread over crust and top with your favorite fruits.

Glaze
2 cups - pineapple juice
2 tbsp - jello
1/2 cup - sugar
1 heaping tbsp - clear jel

Cook until clear. Cool and pour over fruit.

1/3 cup - sugar

Topping:
8 oz - cream cheese
3/4 cup - powdered sugar
8 oz - cool whip
fresh fruit glaze or pie filling

Mix together crust ingredients and bake in a cookie sheet with sides at 350° for 10 minutes. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar; add to cool whip. Spread on cooled crust. Top with a thin layer of glaze (like strawberry or peach), then any kind of fresh fruit or cover with your favorite pie filling.

2 round tbsp - jello
1 cup - water
1/4 tsp - salt
2 tbsp - clear jel
fruit

Measure ingredients into saucepan  and boil. Remove from heat and add 1 pt fruit. This is great for desserts such as delights or pies.

Recipe - Fruit Whip
Our Price:  

3/4 cup boiling water
1 pkg - jello gelatin (any flavor)
1/2 cup - pineapple juice
ice cubes
1 cup - fresh or canned fruit

Pour boiling water into blender. Add gelatin. Cover and blend at low speed until gelatin is completely dissolved, about 30 seconds. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cup. Add to gelatin and stir until ice is partially melted. Then blend at high speed for 30 seconds. Pour into dessert glasses or serving bowl. Spoon in fruit. Dessert layers as it chills. Yield: 6 servings.

Recipe - Fruity Brownie Pizza

1 pkg - brownie mix (8" pan size)
1 (8 oz) - cream cheese (softened)
1/3 cup - sugar
1 can (8 oz) - pineapple tidbits
1 sm - firm banana (sliced)
1 cup - sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup - fresh blueberries
1 square - semisweet chocolate
1 tbsp - butter

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spread the batter into a greased 12" pan. Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes. Cool completely. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Spread over crust. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Toss banana slices with juice; drain well. Arrange fruit over cream cheese layer. Melt chocolate and butter; stir until smooth. Drizzle over fruit. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Recipe - Glaze for Fresh Fruit

4 cups - water
1 1/4 cups - water
1 pkg - orange kool-aid
1/2 cup - clear jel

Mix sugar, kool-aid and clear jel and 1 cup water. Bring remaining water to boil. Stir in the paste mixture and boil for 2 minutes. Cool. This can also be used for topping a fruit pizza.

Recipe - Graham Cracker Pudding

1/2 cup - butter
3/4 cup - brown sugar
1 cup - water
2 rounded tbsp - flour
2 rounded tbsp - cornstarch
1/2 cup - white sugar
2 - egg yolks
1 1/2 cups - milk

Crumbs
12 - graham cracker crumbs
2 tbsp -  melted butter
1/4 cup - white sugar
8-12oz - whipped topping

Melt margarine. Add brown sugar and let come to a boil. Add water and let come almost to a boil again. Combine flour, cornstarch, sugar, egg yolks and milk. Stir into hot mixture. On low heat, stir and cook until it thickens. Cool.
Mix cracker crumbs, butter and sugar. Layer crumbs, chilled pudding, and whipped topping in a clear bowl. Refrigerate. Yield 6-8 servings.

Recipe - Grape Jello Salad

2 boxes - cream cheese
2 cups - topping (unbeaten)
1 sm box - grape jello
3 boxes - grape jello (optional)

Mix grape jello with 1 cup hot water, when cooled add rest of ingredients. Put in a mold or add 3 boxes grape jello for top and bottom as a grape ribbon salad. Put in oblong container.

Recipe - Great Pumpkin Dessert

1 (15 oz) - solid pack pumpkin
1 can (12 oz) - evaporated milk
3 - eggs
1 cup - sugar
4 tsp - pumpkin pie spice
1 pkg - yellow cake mix
3/4 cup - butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups - chopped walnuts
vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

In a mixing bowl, combine first ingredients. Transfer to a greased 13x9x2 baking pan. Sprinkle with dry cake mix and drizzle with butter. Top with walnuts. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Yield: 12-16 servings.

whipped cream

Halve, pit and peel peaches. Put one Hershey's Treasure in seed cavity and wrap in tinfoil. Grill on medium heat for 15 minutes or until chocolate is soft. Serve with whipped cream.

Recipe - Homemade Ice Cream

2 qt - half and half
1 pt - whipping cream
1 can - sweetened condensed milk
2 cups - sugar
1 sm box - vanilla instant pudding
3 tbsp - vanilla

Mix all together and pour into freezer. Finish filling can with milk to 5" from top. Freeze. Very simple but delicious!

Recipe - Homemade Ice Cream

3 sm - boxes instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup - brown sugar
1 qt - milk
1 can - eagle brand milk
1 can - carnation milk
1 tbsp - vanilla
pinch of salt

Beat instant pudding and brown sugar with 1 quart milk. Add remaining ingredients and beat again. Add enough milk to fill freezer about 3/4 full. Do not fill can or it won`t freeze hard. This will fill freezer when frozen. For 1/2 gal freezer.

Beat together all ingredients except milk. Pour in a 1 1/2 gal freezer can. Add milk to make 3/4 full. Freeze. Does not get icy when you freeze.

Recipe - Hot Fudge Sundae Cake

1 cup - flour
3/4 cup - sugar
2 tbsp - cocoa
2 tsp - baking powder
1/4 tsp - salt
1/2 cup - milk
2 tbsp - salad oil
1 tsp - vanilla
1 cup - nuts

Combine the first 5 ingredients in an ungreased 9" x 9" pan. Mix milk, oil and vanilla until smooth. Add nuts. Spread evenly in pan. Sprinkl 1 cup brown sugar, then 1/4 cup cocoa. Do not mix. Pour 1 3/4 cups hot water over this. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Put each helping on plate, top with ice cream and sauce.

Recipe - Hot Fudge Sundae Sauce

1/2 cup - butter
2 1/4 cups - powdered sugar
2/3 cup - evaporated milk
3 squares - baking chocolate
1 tsp - vanilla

Place all ingrediens in double boiler top and mix slightly. Cook over hot water for 30 minutes without stirring. Mix thoroughly and serve over vanilla ice cream.

1 1/2 pt - ice cream
3 cups - sugar
3/4 tsp - salt
3 tbsp - vanilla

Heat milk. Mix sugar, flour, salt and beaten eggs, beat until light. Add mixture to milk and bring to a boil. Then add vanilla and cream when cool. Freeze in 1 1/2 gal freezer. Sometimes I add a little more milk or cream.

Recipe - Ice Cream Cake

1 - yellow cake mix
1 sm box - chocolate instant pudding
4 - eggs
1/2 cup - cooking oil
2 tsp - vanilla
1 cup - water

Put in two 9x13 cake pans. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes. Cool.
Mix together:
1/2 gal - vanilla ice cream
2 sm boxes - vanilla instant pudding

Put on top of cooled cakes. Freeze. Befores serving put cool whip on top. Each cake serves 15 people.
