Recipe - Honey Cinnamon French Toast
Our Price:  

2 to 4 tbsp - butter (melted)
2 tbsp - honey
1 tsp - cinnamon (divided)
1 cup - milk
3 - eggs
6 slices - bread

Melt butter and honey in a 9"x13" pan. Once melted add cinnamon; spread to coat bottom of pan. In a bowl beat eggs, milk and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Dip bread into egg mixture and place in prepared pan. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes (350° for glass pans) or until golden brown. Serve with pancake syrup. Enjoy

Recipe - Waffles
Our Price:  

2 cups - flour
2 tsp - baking powder
3 tbsp - white sugar
1/4 tsp - salt
3 - egg yolks
1/2 cup - oil
1 1/2 cups - milk
3 - egg whites (beaten stiff)

Measure dry ingredients, blend. Beat egg whites until stiff. Combine egg yolks, milk, and oil. Stir into dry ingredients. Gently fold in egg white. Don`t over mix. Bake in waffle iron. Serve: 4

Recipe - Breakfast Casserole
Our Price:  

Tator tots or shredded hash browns
1 (24 oz) - sour cream
1 pt - salsa
12 to 24 - eggs (scrambled)
2 lbs - ham or sausage crumbles
2 cans - cheddar cheese soup

Layer 1: In large roaster cover bottom with tator tota or shredded hash browns
Layer 2: 1 24 oz sour cream
Layer 3: 1 pint salsa
Layer 4: 12-24 scrambled eggs. Adjust to amount of people.
Layer 5: 2 lbs ham or sausage crumbles
Layer 6: 2 cans cheddar cheese soup
Bake at 350° till bubbly.

Recipe - Granola Breakfast Cereal
Our Price:  

8 cups - quick oats
1/2 cup - brown sugar
1 cup - real maple syrup
2 cups - coconut
1 cup - whole wheat flour
1/2 cup - oil (or 1 cup butter)
1/2 cup - chocolate chips
1 tsp - salt
1 1/2 tsp - soda
2 pkg - graham crackers (broken)

Mix together. Bake on cookie sheet. When nice and brown over top. Stir every 15 minutes. Browning adds flavor. Bake at 325° till brown. Then 200° till dry.

Recipe - Granola Cereal

1 1/2 cups - brown sugar
10 cups - quick oats
4 cups - whole wheat flour
2 tsp - salt
3 tsp - soda
3 pkg - graham crackers (crushed)
2 1/2 cups - oleo (melted)

Mix all together. Put in a roaster. Bake at 250° for 45 minutes. When done add 2 cups choc chips right away and mix well. May also use butterscotch chips. Very good on top of the other cereal or by itself.

Recipe - Cream Sticks
Our Price:  

2 pkg - yeast
1 cup - milk
2/3 cup - sugar
1 tsp - salt
1 cup - warm water
1/2 cup - shortening
2 - eggs (beaten)
6 to 7 cups - flour

Dissolve the yeast in water. Scald and cool the milk. Cream the shortening, sugar, eggs and salt. Mix all together till its a soft dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place. Roll out and cut in strips. Let rise again then deep fry in oil.

Cream Stick Filling:
Cook together 3 tsp flour and 1 cup milk. Set aside and cool. Put 1 cup Crisco and 1 cup sugar together and beat real well. Then add your flour and milk mixtures. Beat well. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar. The more you beat the better it is.

Recipe - Granola Cereal

8 to 10 cups - old fashioned oats
2 cups - brown sugar
2 tsp - cinnamon
1 cup - milk
1/2 tsp - salt
3/4 cup - coconut
1 cup - chopped nuts
1 cup - oil
2 cups - raisins

Mix all ingredients, except raisins. Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. When finished, cool slightly and add raisins.

Recipe - Granola

1/2 cup - sunflower seeds
1/3 cup - honey
3/4 cup - date pieces
1 cup - fine coconut
1/2 cup - pecans (chopped)
1 tsp - cinnamon

Combine oil, honey and cinnamon. Add to other ingredients, except date pieces. Place mixture on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add date pieces.

Recipe - Granola Cereal

6 cups - oatmeal
2 cups - graham cracker crumbs
1 1/2 cup - butter (melted)
1 1/2 tsp - soda
2 cups - wheat germ
1 3/4 cups - brown sugar
2 tsp - salt

Mix everything together. Put in 2 - 9x13 cake pans and toast at 250° for 1 1/2 hours. Stir every 15 minutes so it dosen`t get lumpy. Add 1 cup milk chocolate chips and 1/2 cup cinnamon chips after slightly cooled.

Recipe - Granola Cereal

24 cups - oatmeal
5 cups - brown sugar
1 cup - sunflower seeds
6 sticks - oleo (melted)
3 cups - wheat germ
6 cups - coconut
1/2 cup - sesame seeds (optional)
1 cup - chocolate chips (optional)

Mix oatmeal, wheat germ, brown sugar, coconut, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds. Pour melted oleo and mix thoroughly. Put into large baking pans and put in 300° oven. Toast till nicely browned and seems dry, approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Remove and cool 5-10 minutes, add chocolate chips and mix and they will melt a little. This cereal is an all time favorite for us!

Recipe - Grape nuts

5 cups - brown sugar
2 tsp - vanilla
3/4 lb - oleo (melted)
8 cups - whole wheat flour
1 tsp - salt
1 tsp - soda

Bake at 350°. When done crumble cake. Put in pans and bake until golden brown. Stir several times while crumbs are baking.

Recipe - Butterscotch Cereal Mix

1 stick - oleo
1/2 tsp - salt
1 1/2 cup - brown sugar
1/4 cup - green label karo

Cook 2 minutes then add 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Then pour over the following and spread loosely on wax paper to dry.

2 cups - cheerios
2 cups - kix
2 cups - pretzels
4 cups - rice chex
4 cups - corn chex
1 cup - pecans (optional)

Recipe - Breakfast Cereal

12 cups - rolled oats
3 cups - coconut
1 cup - nuts
1 cup - wheat germ
2 3/4 cups - brown sugar
1 1/2 cups - butter
pinch of salt
chocoalte chips, raisins, or butterscotch chips (optional)

Put dry ingredients into bowl. Melt the butter and pour over it. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Toast for 1 hour at 250 stirring every 15 minutes.
Note: We like to add chocolate chips (or whatever you wish) while still warm.

Recipe - Favorite Pancakes

1 - egg (beaten)
2 tbsp - mazola oil
1 tbsp - sugar
1/2 tsp - baking soda
1 cup - buttermilk
1 cup - flour
1 tsp - baking powder
1/2 tsp - salt

Beat well, add buttermilk and soda, stir well. Add rest of ingredients and fry on greased skillet.

Pancake syrup:
2 cups - brown sugar
3 cups - water

Brig to a boil. Thicken with clear jel.

Recipe - Fluffy Pancakes

4 tsp - baking powder
2 - eggs (beaten)
2 tbsp - butter (melted)
2 tbsp - sugar
1 tsp - salt
2 cups - milk

Measure dry ingredients, stir to blend. Combine eggs, milk and butter, add to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Grease griddle lightly for first pancake only. Serve hot with maybe syrup.

Recipe - Fluffy Pancakes

2 cups - bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup - milk
2 - eggs
1/2 cup - lemon-lime soda

Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Pour on greased hot griddle and fry. Very light and fluffy pancakes.

Recipe - Fried Corn Mush

3 cups - boiling water
3/4 cup - cold water
1 cup - corn meal
1 tsp - salt

Moisten cornmeal with enough water to make a paste. Stir in boiling water. Beat until thickened. Continue cooking on low heat for approximately 20 minutes, stirring often. While hot, pour into bread pans and let set until solid. Slice, dip in flour and fry in grease and butter until nice and brown. Serve with applebutter or gravy.

Recipe - Corn Meal Mush

4 cups - water
2 tsp - salt
1 3/4 cup - cornmeal
1/4 cup - flour
1/2 cup - water
1/2 cup - milk

Bring water and salt to a boil. Sift together flour and corn meal. Slowly add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup milk, stirring until smooth. Slowly add this mixture to boiling salt water, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. When well blended, cook slowly for 30 minutes. Pour into wet flat pans to mold. Chill thoroughly. Cut into 1/4" slices and fry in skillet till golden. Delicious with hot maple syrup or apple butter.

Recipe - Corn Meal Mush

1 tsp - salt
1 cup - cornmeal

Put 3 cups water on to boil. Stir the other cup with the cornmeal, add salt. Pour mixture into boiling water, stirring constantly until all boils thoroughly. Turn burner to low heat. Cover kettle, stir occasionally. Cook for an hour or more. Eat hot with butter and syrup or milk, or pour in dish to cool, slice and fry.

Heat 3 cups water to boiling point in saucepan. Mix 1 cup cornmeal and 1 tsp salt with 1 cup milk and add to boiling water, stirring constantly. Cover. Cook over low heat 5 minutes. Pour into pan and let cool. Slice and fry.

Recipe - Ham and Cheese Omelet

8 - eggs
1 tsp - seasoned salt
3 oz - meat (such as beef, bacon, sausage or ham)
1 cup - shredded mozzarella or swiss
3 tbsp - chopped onion
1 cup - milk

Tear meat in small pieces. Beat together eggs, milk and seasoned salt. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased oblong baking dish. Bake uncovered in 325° oven unil omelel is set and top is golden brown, 40-45 minutes. Makes 6 servings
