A warm and comforting casserole made with tender cabbage, peppers, onions, smoky bacon, and melted cheddar cheese 🥓 An easy, flavorful side dish made with simple ingredients the whole family can enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 med Cabbage, shredded

  • 1 Green Pepper, chopped

  • 1 Onion, chopped

  • 8 slices Bacon, cooked & diced

  • 1 c Shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Sauté peppers and onions in 2 T. butter for about 5 minutes. Set aside

  3. Boil cabbage and drain; add peppers and onions

  4. Mix remaining ingredients and combine with cabbage

  5. Put in a 9x13” casserole dish and bake for 45 minutes
