This healthy blend works well with your favorite seasonings or as a rice bed for fresh chicken, beef or fish. Try serving this blend with stir fried vegetables for a healthy and delicious meal.
Directions: Place 1 cup rice and 3 Tbsp vegetable oil in large saucepan. Fry on medium high heat stirring constantly until lightly browned. Carefully add 2 cups water or broth. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Cover and let simmer 35-40 minutes. Do not stir. Turn heat off and let steam for 15 minutes. Fluff with a fork, salt and pepper to taste and serve.
